It appears to me from the reports of today’s hearings that Judge Boliker has an extreme conflict of interest and in addition has a lack of understanding what her role is in these proceedings. To the extent that James argues that the guardian’s decisions are causing harm to Janie, we note that the circuit court has a duty to protect a ward from such alleged harm.
